The cheaper version of Toyota Land Cruiser has great fuel consumption

The new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 SUV is the successor of the famous Prado and a cheaper version of the full-size Land Cruiser. It turned out that the model has a moderate "appetite" and low fuel consumption.
The official website of the automaker announced that the fuel consumption of the Toyota LC 250 is 8.7 liters/100 km in combined mode. It is an excellent indicator for a large and heavy-frame SUV, at the level of compact crossovers.
A new generation of Japanese SUVs has lost the name Prado and is now called Toyota Land Cruiser 250. That is 50 less than the flagship LC 300 SUV.
The design is made in retro style, which is a very fashionable decision in the segment of modern SUVs. The appearance refers to the Toyota models of the 80s. The silhouette is straight, the lines are simple and the look is assembled from large geometric elements.
A new generation of SUVs has become larger. The length of the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 is 4920 mm (wheelbase is 2850 mm), the width is equal to 2139 mm, and the height is 1859 mm. The platform is used from the older model 300.
Two powertrains will be offered. It has a diesel turbo engine with a volume of 2.8 liters and a gasoline one of 2.4 liters (as part of a hybrid with an output of 326 hp). It is the latter option that turned out to be the most economical.
OBOZREVATEL has already shared the cheap Honda crossover, which was shown in a cool design.
