Powerful home disinfectant with only three ingredients: how to make your own
The coronavirus pandemic has shown how important it is to always have a sanitizer on hand. You especially need it in the kitchen, where you constantly have to treat surfaces for bacteria and viruses in order to have healthy and safe food.
But many sanitizers are quite expensive and act very harshly. An effective remedy based on an inexpensive product can be made independently and used almost anywhere in the house. OBOZREVATEL learned the recipe for such a spray.
For its manufacture you will need:
- medical alcohol;
- white vinegar;
- essential oil.
To prepare the solution, take a spray bottle, fill it halfway with alcohol, add to it 25 ml of vinegar and 25 drops of essential oil that you like. Experts advise choosing an oil that has antibacterial properties. It can be tea tree, eucalyptus, something from conifers or citrus. In this case, the oil will not only give the spray a pleasant aroma, but also enhance its properties.
Close the bottle and shake it thoroughly so that all the components are properly mixed. When the liquid becomes homogeneous, the remedy can be used immediately.
Such a disinfector can be used on almost any surface of the house, except granite and marble. The spray should be applied to the place that you want to sanitize, hold for at least 30 seconds and wipe off the residue.
In addition to the function of disinfection, such a remedy will also help with cleaning. After all, the vinegar included in its composition, being an acid, dissolves grease and other contaminants well.
