Ideal icing for Paska bread (Easter cake) is stable, doesn't crumble, and doesn't stick to your hands. It can be made from egg whites and sugar, powdered sugar, gelatin, or agar-agar.

Food blogger Natalia with the nickname n.filiaska on her TikTok page shared a recipe for Paska icing, which is made from jelly - you don't have to use eggs to make it.

Ingredients:

  • jelly - 1 p
  • water - 150 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Pour jelly with water, stir with a whisk for 2-3 minutes.

2. Whip the resulting mass with a mixer until fluffy and dense. When ready, you can wait a few minutes to make the mass thicker.

3. The resulting glaze can be used to cover the Paska bread. If desired, you can put the decorated Paska in the refrigerator for a while.
