"Don't you want them to shut the f**k up?": Green Day calls out Trump, Musk and Vance from stage after Oval Office incident. Video
Following the tense negotiations in the White House, during which a dispute erupted between Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Donald Trump, and J.D. Vance, the American punk rock band Green Day publicly spoke out against the American politicians. During a concert at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong asked the fans on stage whether they wanted the US president and his associate, businessman Elon Musk, to "shut up."
The band's fans supported the 53-year-old performer. Loud applause followed his emotional statement.
"Don't you want Elon Musk to shut the f*ck up? Don't you want Donald Trump to shut the f*ck up?" shouted Billie during his performance.
By the way, Green Day also demonstrated their negative attitude toward American politicians with a song. The band's frontman slightly changed the lyrics of the song Jesus of Suburbia to humiliate J.D. Vance. The updated lines read as follows:
Am I retarded or am I just JD Vance?
We are the kids of war and peace from Ukraine to Middle East.
It is worth noting that Billie Joe Armstrong has been opposing Donald Trump's policies for a long time. During the US election, he actively supported Kamala Harris, and at many Green Day concerts he changed several lines in songs to humiliate the 47th US president.
As previously reported, on February 28, tense talks took place at the White House between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump. During the meeting, a dispute broke out between the leaders. According to the Ukrainian, the quarrel was initially caused by incorrect statements by American politicians about the number of Ukrainians killed in the war and the lost territories. Later, the conversation escalated over the issue of security guarantees. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would not agree to a ceasefire without guarantees.
During the argument, the Ukrainian leader asked US Vice President J.D. Vance if he had been to Ukraine to know exactly what problems we have. The politician replied, "I've actually watched and seen the stories."
It is worth noting that this statement outraged not only the citizens of our country, but also the American actor Misha Collins. He published a video on Instagram, in which he noted that he had not only seen the stories but also had been to Ukraine several times and it was during these trips that he was able to realize the real consequences of the terrorist war started by Russia.
After the events in Washington, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and all Ukrainians were supported by other world stars. Some celebrities commented quite sharply on Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, noting that politicians should be ashamed of their behavior.
