During a concert at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong asked the fans on stage whether they wanted the US president and his associate, businessman Elon Musk, to "shut up."

The band's fans supported the 53-year-old performer. Loud applause followed his emotional statement.
