"I've seen stories from Ukraine too. And I was also there": Hollywood actor Misha Collins put J.D. Vance in his place after the White House controversy

American actor Misha Collins reacted to the tense negotiations at the White House, during which a public dispute erupted between Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Donald Trump, and J.D. Vance. The Supernatural star responded to the US Vice President's accusation that he was supposedly well versed in the events taking place in our country because he had "seen everything in the stories." The celebrity noted that he had been to Ukraine several times, and it was during these trips that he was able to realize the real consequences of the terrorist war launched by Russia.

The actor posted the video on his Instagram page. He noted that he will continue to support Ukraine, as he has done since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

"I, like many other people, have seen stories from Ukraine. I was also there, and I saw everything with my own eyes," the star said.

Misha Collins added some archival footage from his trip to our country to the video. The footage shows the actor standing by a window, with loud explosions in the background. According to the celebrity, that day Russia attacked Ukraine around three in the morning.

"I saw craters and buildings destroyed to the ground. Entire communities turned to rubble by Russian missiles and bombs, tens of thousands of which have been dropped over the past three years. I saw Ukrainian soldiers who lost limbs to Russian mines. I have seen orphaned children and grieving parents. I have seen incredibly resourceful, determined, tireless Ukrainians who, despite the enemy's superiority in strength and resources, fight for their country every day without sparing themselves. For freedom and justice. And, of course, I will continue to stand by Ukraine," the Hollywood actor said.

It is worth noting that Misha Collins has been to Ukraine twice. In 2023, the star came to Kyiv and met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. At that time, the head of state thanked the actor for joining the team of ambassadors of the UNITED24 fundraising platform in the area of Humanitarian Demining.

Collins returned to the capital of Ukraine in 2024. First, he posted a photo taken against the backdrop of broken military equipment on Mykhailivska Square, and later visited Sumy region.

On February 28, a tense meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump took place at the White House. During the talks, the two leaders got into a public spat, which, according to the Ukrainian guarantor, arose from incorrect statements by American politicians about the number of Ukrainians killed in the war and the lost territories.

The topic of security guarantees also caused the conversation to get heated. Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine would not agree to a ceasefire until there were absolute guarantees that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not resume terrorist activities.

During the tense meeting, Zelenskyy also asked US Vice President J.D. Vance if he had been to Ukraine to tell him exactly what problems we have. The politician replied: "I was. I saw all these stories."

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the statements of American statesmen caused a strong reaction from the public. After the talks in the White House, world stars took to their social media to express support for Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the entire Ukrainian people.

The American comedy show Saturday Night Live even made a parody of the official meeting. They aptly ridiculed the behavior of Trump and Vance.

By the way, they also made fun of politicians during the Oscars. Adam Sandler appeared at the event in his signature look – a sweatshirt and athletic shorts – which was immediately compared to the style of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who, during the war, prefers utilitarian clothing even during official meetings.
