The automaker showed a strange body mockup without fine detailing. However, this "car" shows the design direction for the next Octavia. It will not resemble its predecessors at all.

The Skoda Octavia 2026 model year must turn into an electric car. This sets the trend for the design to become more futuristic. Artists drew the body with narrow headlights and a glossy panel between them instead of the usual false radiator grille.
Special attention was paid to smooth lines and aerodynamics. This is important for an electric car in terms of efficient energy consumption. It is expected that the new Octavia A9 will be built on the MEV+ platform like many other VW Group electric cars.
The range could exceed 500 kilometers. It is currently unknown whether gasoline variants will be offered.
