Regardless of how well we are prepared for the interview, such a conversation still causes anxiety and stress. This makes us nervous and we may inadvertently say or ask something wrong. Employers always pay attention to small details, so even one sentence can ruin the first impression.
A blogger named @bonniedilber posted an interesting video on TikTok, where she shared some useful tips. According to her, you can increase your chances of getting the position you want.
Problems at work
If you had problems at your last job, for example, you didn't get along with your colleagues and boss, it's best not to talk about it. Such frankness can negatively affect your reputation and image. The employer will think that you are a conflicted person with whom it is difficult to get along.
When you are asked why you quit, it is better to say that you want to change your area of responsibility.
Finances
You should also not mention financial problems as the main reason for changing jobs. When asked why you chose their company, emphasize the advantages of the firm. This answer will give you a better chance of standing out among other candidates.
But if you are asked about your plans for the future, in no case should you say that working for them is just a "stopover" before a grand career with other employers.
