Kitchen towels get dirty quickly and lose their softness and beautiful appearance. Grease stains are difficult to get rid of, and after repeated washing they become stiff and no longer so pleasant to the touch.

However, it is possible to maintain the quality of towels, rather than constantly buying new ones. OBOZREVATEL gathered tips from Eastern hosts, which will help to maintain a good condition of the fabric.

For example, Japanese women use familiar to us vinegar to soften the product.

To do this, take 200 ml of table vinegar and dilute it in 10 litres of water. Pour it into the conditioner compartment of your washing machine and start any programme. But don't wash other items with towels because the fittings on your clothes, buttons and zips can tear the fabric.

It's not a good idea to spin and dry your towels in the washing machine - you're better off doing it yourself. That's because the automatic mode reduces the quality of the garment.

You can also pick up lint from terry towels quickly during washing by using an ordinary rubber ball with spikes. Put it in with the towels and run the machine.

Or if you're washing by hand, soak the towels in the solution mentioned above for one hour. Then rinse them in soapy water and rinse under running water.
