Juicy and flavorful meat is very easy to bake in the oven, even with a minimum amount of ingredients, selecting only the right spices. You can bake it whole in a sleeve or foil, or in pieces - in this form it turns out as a real shashlik.

Food blogger Tatyana with the nickname _tanyushina_ on her Instagram page shared a recipe for baked meat on an onion pillow with spices, which is more delicious than a shashlik.

Baked meat and onions recipe


  • meat - 1-1,5 kg
  • onions - 1 kg
  • salt
  • spices
  • mustard

Method of cooking:

1. Cut the meat into medium slices. Place in a bowl.

2. Sprinkle the meat with spices and add mustard. Stir and leave to marinate for 1 hour.

3. Cut the onions into rings and put them in the baking dish. Place the meat on top.

4. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour.
