The famous mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Khabib Nurmagomedzhov has unexpectedly hinted at his return to big sport. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion did not disclose all his plans, but noted that he should not be expected in the octagon.

Khabib wrote about this on his Instagram page. He posted a video of his treadmill workout and announced a comeback for this summer.

"I have to be ready by July. Not MMA," Nurmagomedov, who ended his fighting career in October 2020, captioned the video. At that time, he remained undefeated with 29 wins in 29 MMA fights.

The Russian is an avid football fan and has always dreamed of becoming a professional footballer. Khabib is friends with Cristiano Ronaldo and is also a fan of Real Madrid.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko got into a new drunken scandal. He caused a disturbance at the Yekaterinburg airport and delayed his flight to Moscow.
