How to perfectly tear off tape without scissors: a simple life hack
Probably everyone has experienced the situation when they needed to get a straight strip of tape but didn't have scissors at hand. Of course, you can tear off the tape, but the tear line is unlikely to be straight, even if you help yourself with your teeth. And the tape itself will crumple and stick together.

Stick the free end of the tape to a surface to prevent the tape from sticking together. Then unwind the length you need. At the desired tear point, fold the tape across with the adhesive side facing inward. The tape should stick to itself by about a millimeter. All that remains is to pull the free end sharply. You should get a fairly even and neat tear.
