How to make delicious pea soup: the easiest recipe

Pea soup is a very tasty and healthy first dish, which is prepared in different ways: with chicken, smoked meat, ribs, meatballs and mushrooms. It is quite easy to prepare, because you can cook it in a pot and in a multicooker. The dish always turns out a rich, nourishing and flavorful.
Foodblogger Julia Simonchuk(cook_julija_simonchuk) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for pea soup with ribs.
Ingredients:
- dried peas - 200-250 g
- ribs - 4-5 pcs (already separated)
- potatoes - 7-8 pcs
- carrots - 1 pc
- onion - 1 pc
- salt -
- bay leaf - 2-3 pcs
- allspice - 2-3 pcs
- spices
- greens (dill, parsley) - bunch
- water - 3 l
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the peas thoroughly with cold water until they are clear, pour water again and leave overnight. Before cooking, rinse again and transfer to the pot. Cook for at least 1.5 hours under a lid, taking off the foam periodically.
2. Rinse and add the ribs. Boil until the meat is tender.
3 Peel and slice the potatoes. Add to the broth. Cook until tender.
4. Shred the onions, grate the carrots. Make a stir-fry and add to the soup.
5. Add bay leaf, allspice, spices, chopped greens. Leave for 1 minute and remove from heat. Leave the soup to stand for 20 minutes.
