How to get rid of limescale on faucets

Over time, limescale and soap marks appear on the faucets, and expensive chemicals are not always able to remove dirt, but rather only spoil the surface. The formation of white spots is affected by water quality and untimely cleaning.

OBOZ.UA has found effective ways to help restore the shine to the faucets. Bathroom fixtures should be cleaned two to three times a week to create a pleasant atmosphere and ensure proper functioning of the plumbing.

Olive oil

If you don't want to use chemicals, you'll need a natural ingredient that won't harm you or your faucets. Olive oil will effectively remove limescale and restore shine to surfaces. The oil will create a protective layer that will repel unwanted dirt.

Apply a few drops of the mixture to a soft microfiber cloth and polish all necessary surfaces thoroughly.

Vinegar

This is the most famous product that will remove plaque and even old dirt. Dampen a cloth or sponge with vinegar and wipe thoroughly. You can even pour vinegar on very dirty areas that are difficult to clean. Wait 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. If necessary, wipe the faucets again with a damp cloth to remove any residual soap and limescale.
