A simple life hack will help clean the narrow spout of the kettle

Often, when cleaning the kitchen and washing the dishes, we don't pay attention to the small details. For example, dirt and crumbs accumulate in the knife blocks, on the fronts of cabinets, or in the spaces between appliances.

The kettle should be cleaned regularly as it quickly darkens from the inside due to the effects of brewing. To discover a simple and effective life hack for cleaning a dirty kettle spout, read the OBOZREVATEL article.

A darkened kettle is not merely an aesthetic issue; without proper cleaning, pathogenic bacteria and germs can accumulate.

The kettle spout is often the most challenging part to clean, as it is difficult for a rag or sponge to fit inside.

But there's a solution. Ordinary cotton swabs can come to the rescue. They easily fit into the narrow spout, enabling cleaning even in the most inaccessible places.

Cleaning experts recommend using a soda solution, which will quickly and effectively remove old plaque.

Ingredients needed:

  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • Cotton swabs

Add a teaspoon of baking soda to a glass of warm water and stir thoroughly. Dip the cotton swab into the solution and clean the kettle spout with it. For greater efficiency, tilt the kettle in different directions to reach the farthest inner walls. Afterward, be sure to rinse the kettle under a stream of warm running water.
