Normal food foil can boost the router's signal.

Slow Internet can be a big problem when you have a lot of work to do or want to watch a movie online. But the way to boost the Wi-Fi signal on your home router won't require much effort on your part. You'll be able to boost the speed yourself.

According to Sante Plus, you only need food foil. It can be used to make a reflector of radio waves, which are emitted by the router. All you need is a roll of regular aluminum foil or an aluminum can, a small box and glue or tape.

First glue aluminum foil to the entire inside of the box. It should be about the same size as the router. The ideal choice is the box from the device itself, if you still have it. This reflector should now be placed behind the antenna. So that it is directed deep into the room where you use the wireless Internet.

If you took a can for the same task, first wash and dry it well and then cut out the top and bottom. You should end up with a metal cylinder. Cut it lengthwise to get a flat sheet of metal and place it behind the router antenna. You can secure this reflector with duct tape.
