How to water geraniums

Despite its peculiar smell, geraniums are one of the most popular houseplants grown by housewives. The bright flowers decorate the house and are also unpretentious in their care.

But it is necessary to feed the plant from time to time to make the flowering lush and abundant. OBOZREVATEL has found effective tips to help you do this.

Succinic acid

These are colorless crystals extracted from amber. The acid is used not only as a fertilizer but also as a medicine. Pour four glasses of water into a container and add 2 grams of succinic acid. Mix everything thoroughly until it is completely dissolved and pour it over the geraniums. Repeat this procedure once a month and the flowering will be lush and abundant.

If the plant is sick or you notice that the leaves are starting to wilt, you can spray it with this solution. Succinic acid will help restore a healthy look to the flowers and fill them with nutrients.

You can also use coffee grounds as a fertilizer for geraniums. After you've had your coffee, pour the grounds into a pot and mix them with the soil. The soil will become loose and saturated with oxygen.

Earlier, OBOZREVATEL told you how to quickly save a flower if the geranium has wilted and looks unattractive.
