The budget electric car Wuling Bingo, which General Motors developed together with the Chinese concern SAIC, is breaking sales records. Buyers are very pleased with the features, equipment and low price.
The high sales of the model are reported by CarNewsChina. For four months of 2023 (from April to July inclusive) sold more than 80,000 copies of the new Wuling Bingo. At the same time, the budget Chinese electric car is still presented only in the home market.
The compact hatchback Bingo costs $8,340 for the base variant. It is not difficult to guess that such an attractive price suits buyers. In addition, the equipment of the model is modern - there are two digital displays on the front panel in the cabin.

The manufacturer even offers as an option an inflatable mattress that can be placed in the rear of the cabin for sleeping.
The cheapest version of the electric car is equipped with a 17.3 kWh battery pack with a range of only 203 km. A 31.9 kWh battery pack is available for a surcharge - the range in this case reaches 333 km. To accelerate above 100 km/h Wuling Bingo can not.
