The new budget crossover Hyundai Exter is a hit among buyers. The novelty went on sale on July 10, but has already created a long queue. The demand is breaking records.
According to Autocar, in just one week since the start of sales of the cheap Hyundai Exter priced from $ 7,200, the queue of buyers stretched for 12 weeks ahead. At the same time, it is still possible to buy the budget crossover in only one market.
The company now receives 1800 orders daily in India. For the first five days of sales the car collected 16,000 applications. In the future, the model is planned to appear in other markets. In the meantime, the manufacturer needs to meet the increased demand in one country.
Hyundai Exter is a compact crossover with a body length of 3815 mm with a wheelbase of 2450 mm. Width is equal to 1710 mm, height is 1631 mm. The crossover has only front-wheel drive, but the clearance of 185 mm helps to cope with bad roads. It is a great choice for the developing markets.
