Chinese company Chery has shown its new rival for Skoda Octavia. it is an export model and will go to conquer markets outside of China. The manufacturer set a surprising price.

The model was reported on the official website. It costs 25 000 dollars. It seems not much, but quite comparable to the Octavia. Although Chinese cars are usually cheaper than European cars, there is no reason to change this rule.

The design is secondary and "cheap". The style is a mixture of Lexus, Toyota, Kia and Dodge models. The model cannot be called completely new. It is an export variant of the car, which is known as the Chery Arrizo 5 GT in the home market.

The Chery Omoda O5 GT is equipped with keyless entry, climate control, cruise control and wireless charging for smartphones in a base version. rRound-view cameras, heated and ventilated seats, traffic control systems in the occupied lane and blind spot monitoring are available for an additional fee.

OBOZREVATEL has already spoken about the high export of Chinese cars, which brought the country to first place.
