Toyota Prado is a cheaper variant of the Land Cruiser for those who are a little short of money for a full-size SUV. The manufacturer showed the new generation model in the photo and declassified all the details.
The Japanese SUV has lost the name Prado and is now called Toyota Land Cruiser 250. That is 50 less than the SUV LC 300 flagman. Information was revealed on the official website of the manufacturer.
The design is made in retro style: a very fashionable decision in the segment of modern SUVs. The appearance refers to the Toyota models of the 80s. The silhouette is straight, the lines are simple and the look is assembled from large geometric elements.

The SUV has become larger. The length of the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 is 4920 mm (wheelbase - 2850 mm), the width is equal to 2139 mm, and the height is 1859 mm. The platform is used from the older 300 models.
Two powertrains will be offered. Diesel turbo engine with a volume of 2.8 liters and gasoline 2.4 liters (as part of a hybrid with an output of 326 hp). The engines are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The drive is always all-wheel drive. Sales will start in early 2024.
