Booby-trapping of all secondary schools reported in Kyiv

The police received a message about booby-trapping of all secondary schools in Kyiv on Friday, September 1. The relevant services started inspection of educational institutions.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv city RMA. Citizens were urged to remain calm.
"The police received information about booby-trapping of all secondary schools located in Kyiv. Police officers are working alone, but units of the State Emergency Service will be involved if necessary", the message said.
Kyiv RMA added that the decision to evacuate children and teachers from the premises will be taken by the administration of educational institutions and the police.
The police received a message about the booby-trapping of one of the hospitals in Kyiv on July 17. For security reasons, about 250 patients and more than 200 medical personnel were evacuated from the institution. Police officers who inspected the premises did not find any explosives.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, all visitors and employees were evacuated from River Mall on the Dniprovska Embankment in Kyiv in the evening on Sunday, July 23. The police received information that the building might be booby-trapped.
