Foodblogger Galina Sirotyuk(sugaring.ostrog.solodkaledi) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for liver pâté with caramelized onions, which makes the snack sweet and not bitter.
Ingredients:
- chicken liver - 400 g
- onion - 1 pc
- carrot - 1 pc
- cream - 50 ml
- butter - 50 g
- sugar - 1 tsp.
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the onion into half rings and fry until golden with sugar.
2. Chop and add the carrots and liver to the onions. Braise for a few minutes under a closed lid.
3. Add salt, pepper, cream. Braise until tender.
4. The resulting mass transfer to the bowl of a blender and whip until smooth with the addition of oil.
