The new Toyota Rumion 2023 has been officially unveiled. The cheap family car enters the market at an estimated price of 11,000 for the base variant.
The car which is based on the Suzuki Ertiga minivan was reported by Autocar. The two Japanese companies developed a plan to cooperate and share technology several years ago. The cheap minivan is the next result of joint work.
The design of the Rumion came out quite calm. It is unusual to see it today when even budget family models are made aggressive and "sporty" from the outside. Rumion does not look like other Toyota models.
This is largely because the car is almost entirely based on the Ertiga, which was developed by Suzuki. The novelty got its interior. It is dominated by a touchscreen multimedia system, which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The equipment list also includes climate control, USB and music control on the steering wheel. The saloon is designed for 7 people.
Buyers will be able to choose a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an output of 103 hp or a power plant running on gas. The transmission is 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic.
