In the spring, you don't want high-calorie mayonnaise salads with boiled vegetables. The body needs light food. Therefore, fresh vegetables and dressings based on oil, chopped herbs and spices should be used for salads.
The idea of preparing a green spring salad without mayonnaise was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Daria (recepti_dariko). The dressing for this dish is based on avocado, which needs to be whipped.
Ingredients:
- young cabbage - 400 g (you can also use ordinary cabbage, but it needs to be well pressed with your hands)
- cucumber - 2 pieces
Ingredients for the dressing:
- avocado - 1 pc.
- greens (parsley, spinach, basil - any) - 30 g
- olive oil - 3 tbsp
- juice - 1/2 lemon
- water - 2 tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp.
- nuts (any) - 15 g
Method of preparation:
1. Finely chop cabbage.
2. Dice cucumbers.
3. For the dressing, combine peeled avocado, herbs, lemon juice, water, salt, nuts, and olive oil.
4. Beat everything with a blender.
5. Dress.
