  • chicken liver - 750 g
  • eggs - 3 pcs
  • milk - 375 ml
  • flour - 240 g
  • sunflower or olive oil - 8 tbsp (when frying pancakes in a frying pan, you will no longer need to add oil)
  • salt - 1 tsp (optional)

Ingredients for the filling:

  • onions - 4-5 pcs.
  • carrots - 4-5 pcs.
  • mayonnaise - 400 g
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • mayonnaise and herbs for decorating the cake as desired

1. Peel the chicken liver and soak it in water for half an hour if desired. After half an hour, drain the water and grind it in a meat grinder or beat it with a blender.

2. Add eggs, milk, oil, salt, and flour to the liver and beat with a blender or mixer until smooth. The batter should look like thick sour cream.

3. Form liver pancakes on a hot frying pan and fry all pancakes on both sides until golden brown.

4. For the filling, cut the onion into small cubes, grate the carrots and fry the onion until transparent. Add the carrots and fry until tender.

5. After cooking, transfer to a bowl to cool quickly.

6. Then add garlic and mayonnaise to the cooled onions and carrots.
