Whole-grain healthy pancakes: turn out tender and fluffy
Pancakes are healthy and fluffy and can be fried in a dry pan. Therefore, the dish is not too fatty. To make the dish even more dietary, you should add the right base for the batter. Whole wheat flour is perfect for this purpose.
The idea of making spicy whole wheat pancakes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana (lanas_diet).
Ingredients:
- whole wheat flour - 135 g
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- dry ginger - 3/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp/
- eggs - 1 pc7
- honey/syrup - 3 tbsp
- vanilla
- milk - 200 ml
- melted butter - 2 tbsp
Cooking method:
1. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl and whisk liquid ingredients in another.
2. Mix everything thoroughly.
2. Fry in a well-heated pan over low heat.
3. Ingredients for baked goods that include baking soda or baking powder should be at room temperature as baking powder works better in a warm environment.
