What's a delicious marinade for chicken kebabs: three versatile options
The key to a delicious kebab is a successful marinade. If you cook chicken - you need to make it juicy and tender. There are three very simple combinations for this.
The idea for three versatile marinades for kebab is published on the Instagram page of food blogger Elena Mazur(lenna_mazur). This kind of kebab can be made directly in the oven on skewers.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet / thigh filet - 700 g
- salt, pepper
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- oil - 2 tablespoons.
- red pepper/paprika - 0.5 tsp.
- onions (for serving) - 2 units
- skewers - 9 pcs.
Marinade 1:
- tomato paste - 1 tsp.
- sour cream - 1 tsp.
- curry - 0,5 tsp.
Marinade 2:
- soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
Marinade 3:
- mustard - 1 tsp.
- honey - 2 tbsp.
Cooking Recommendations:
1. Fillet of thigh is better because the result will be juicier kebabs.
2. Do not forget to soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes.
3. Immediately marinate onion rings (salt + sugar + vinegar + water), you can add dill.
4. Wash the meat, dice it and add salt, pepper, garlic, vegetable oil, red hot pepper or paprika.
5. Stir, divide into three equal parts and place in deep marinade plates.
6. Let stand for at least 30 minutes, or better overnight.
7. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 degrees. Serve with pickled onions.
