What you should add to Korean-style carrots for the best flavor: a very simple and spicy ingredient
Korean-style carrots are a great alternative to a variety of multi-component salads. Besides, it is very budget-friendly. But instead of traditional spices, you need to add another simple ingredient to the appetizer.

Ingredients:
- carrots - 1 kg
- salt - 1-2 tbsp
- sugar - 3 tbsp (maybe +/- a spoon - depending on the quantity of carrots)
- vinegar - 4-5 tbsp
- Korean-style carrot seasoning - 1/2 sachet (a whole sachet is 25 grams)
- ground black pepper - 1 tsp.
- ground coriander - 2 tsp.
- sunflower oil - 4 tbsp
- garlic - 1-2 cloves, depending on the size
- red pepper - a few pinches (optional, if you want spicy)
Method of preparation:
1. Grate carrots on a special grater for Korean carrots.
2. Add salt and sugar and mash well with your hands to make carrot juice.
3. Add vinegar and spices, make a small depression in the center and squeeze the garlic into it.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan and pour it over the garlic (it's more flavorful).
5. Mix thoroughly, put in a container (preferably glass jars with screw-on lids) and pour the brine over.
6. Put it in the refrigerator.
7. It can be stored for a long time, so be sure to try it.
