You always want to drink something hot after the piercing winter cold. In this case, the following mulled wine variant is ideal. In addition to wine and spices, it contains many useful ingredients that will help boost your immunity.
The idea of making healthy mulled wine with white wine is published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna with the nickname katia_cooking. Make sure that the drink does not boil.
Ingredients:
- white dry wine
- 3 oranges
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 nutmeg
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 2 stars of anise
- 0.5 tsp. ginger
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the apple into small cubes.
2. Cut one orange into half rings.
3. Pour wine into a saucepan and add the previously prepared fruit.
4. Squeeze the juice from two oranges and add to the wine.
5. Add nutmeg, cinnamon, and anise.
6. Put on medium heat and heat to 70 degrees.
7. Do not bring to a boil.
8. Remove from heat and cover for 15 minutes.
9. Strain, add honey, mix and pour.
