What to make green pasta sauce: a very easy and refreshing addition
Pasta is often cooked with a variety of meat sauces and minced meat. It is especially delicious if you add a lot of cheese. But in the springtime, you always want something light and refreshing. Therefore, a good option would be to make this green sauce.
The idea of making green pasta sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yana Leskova (lieskovayana). It has a creamy texture, so it can be a full-fledged healthy soup.
Ingredients:
- 400 g frozen peas
- 50 g of spinach
- 1 piece of lime (zest, juice)
- 50 g of fresh mint
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
- salt and pepper
- amount of pasta at your own discretion
Method of preparation:
1. Put the pasta to boil.
2. Blanch the peas for 3-4 minutes in salted boiling water.
3. Drain almost all the boiling water.
4. Leave about 2-3 tbsp - send to a blender with all the above ingredients.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6. If you use the sauce as a soup the next day, add a little warmed coconut cream.
