Every housewife is sure to have leftover jam that was not eaten in the winter. So you need to use it now so you can make new jam with fresh fruit later. Jam is great for making very simple homemade cookies.

Ingredients:

  • egg - 1 pc
  • butter - 120 g
  • powdered sugar - 60 g
  • flour - 200 grams
  • baking powder - 0,5 tsp.
  • pinch of salt
  • vanilla
  • apple jam

Method of preparation:

 

1. Transfer the room temperature butter (not melted, but soft) to a bowl and beat with a mixer for 1 minute.

2. 2. Add powdered sugar, a pinch of salt, and vanilla to the butter and whisk for a few minutes more. The mass will lighten and become fluffy.

 

3. Add 1 egg and beat with a mixer for 2-3 minutes more.

4. Mix the flour and baking powder and sift them into the creamy egg mixture.

5. Stir until the mixture is homogeneous.

 

6. Using a spoon or simply with your hands, take some dough, with the palms of your hands form a ball.

7. Press a little and put it on parchment.

 

8. In the middle make a small depression.

9. Decorate with apple jam (or any other to your liking) and send in a preheated oven to 190 degrees for about 10 minutes.
