What to cook with green onions: an idea for a hearty dish

Fresh green onions are not only an ingredient in a salad or a tasty addition to bacon, but also a great filling for a pie . Due to the piquant, pronounced taste of this product, the dish will be extremely flavorful. The dough is very simple to prepare and does not require long kneading.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • flour - 300 g
  • butter - 100 g
  • sour cream - 200 g
  • salt - 0, 5 tsp
  • baking powder - 0.5 tsp

Ingredients for the filling:

  • eggs - 5 pcs
  • green onions - a bunch
  • salt
  • pepper
  • yolk for greasing the cake
  • sesame seeds - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Grind soft butter at room temperature with sour cream.

2. Add salt, baking powder, mix.

3. Add flour and knead a soft dough.

4. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

5. Cook the eggs for 10 minutes, cool it down.

6. Chop the green onions and fry for a few minutes in butter.

7. Add chopped eggs, salt and pepper. The filling should be well salted.

8. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll out the circles.

9. Put one on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Place the filling.

10. Close the top with a second circle, pinch the edges.

11. Pierce with a fork to let the steam escape.

12. Brush with egg yolk mixed with water. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

13. Bake in a preheated 180° oven for 30-35 minutes.
