A real tasty adjika should be spicy and sweet at the same time. Therefore, in addition to traditional tomatoes and peppers, you should also add apples. This adjika is perfect for any meat, fish, and other favorite dishes.
The idea of making sweetish adjika with apples and carrots was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tetiana Gerus (gerus_family). The technology is very simple.
A way to make delicious adjika for the winter:
1. Grind 5 kilograms of tomatoes and a kilogram of bell pepper in a blender.
2. Grate a kilogram of apples and a kilogram of carrots.
3. Place in a deep saucepan.
4. Cook for 2 hours.
5. Then add 200 ml of vinegar, 500 ml of vegetable oil, 200 g of sugar, 2 tbsp of salt + 4 heads of peeled garlic and 1 tsp of ground paprika.
6. Cook for 30 minutes.
7. Put into jars and sterilize for 10-15 minutes.
