To make classic meat aspic, you need to spend the whole day. But it's hard to imagine any Ukrainian feast without this dish. And if you don't have a lot of time, you can use the following technique. Here, chicken is used as the base - it's lean and quick to cook.

The idea of making a perfect transparent chicken aspic in an hour was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Ruslana with the nickname ruslanagurtovaya. To make the dish look perfect, strain the broth.

Ingredients:

  • chicken drumsticks - 5 pcs
  • carrots - 1 pc
  • salt / bay leaf / peppercorns
  • garlic - 8 cloves
  • gelatin - 25 g
  • quail eggs and herbs - optional

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the drumsticks with carrots and add salt/spices.

2. Strain the broth.

3. Separate the meat from the bones, add the garlic to both the meat and the broth.

4. Dissolve gelatin according to the instructions and add to the broth.

5. Put the meat, eggs, and carrots on the plates.

6. Pour in the broth and refrigerate for several hours.
