Ukrainian-style lard and garlic spread: the best appetizer for borscht

Lard itself is very useful and it is often eaten on its own with bread. In addition, the product can be salted, pickled, or prepared for various appetizers, spread in particular. Such a spread is perfectly complemented with savory spices, garlic and favorite greens.
One of the cooking blogs (vistovvska_cooking) on Instagram published a recipe for a spread with lard and garlic, which you can easily prepare in 5 minutes.
Ingredients:
- lard
- garlic
- salt, pepper, paprika
Method of preparation:
1. Cut lard into medium-sized pieces and peel garlic.
2. Put the lard, garlic cloves, salt, pepper and paprika in the blender bowl. Grind everything to a smooth consistency.
3. Spread on bread and enjoy. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
- lard - 1.4 kg
- young garlic - 100 g
- green onion - 100 g
- dill - 60 g
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Remove lard skin and chop into smaller pieces.
2. Wash the greens thoroughly.
3. Grind all the greens and lard together through a meat grinder. Repeat the procedure.
4. Add salt and enjoy your appetite!
