Turkish stewed cabbage: what meat is delicious to cook with

Stewed cabbage with meat is a very satisfying and fairly budget-friendly dish. In the traditional version, the vegetable is stewed in combination with ribs. Turkish-style cabbage is cooked with minced meat.
The idea of cooking Turkish stewed cabbage was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alex Mil (mil_alexx). You can combine several types of minced meat.
Ingredients:
- 700 g of cabbage
- 400 g of minced meat (chicken + pork)
- 25 g of oil for frying
- 2-3 tbsp of tomato
- salt, pepper, paprika, suneli hops
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- large onion (150 g)
- large tomato – 300 g
- 3-4 tbsp of sour cream
Method of preparation:
1. Pour the oil into a large saucepan, add the minced meat, and break up the lumps, cook for 6-7 minutes.
2. Put the sliced tomato and onion in half rings, finely chopped garlic, and add the tomato paste.
3. Mix everything well and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
4. Add spices: salt, pepper, paprika, suneli hops.
5. Stir and cook for a few more minutes.
6. Put the shredded cabbage in the pan.
7. Stir and cook with the lid on for about 20 minutes. No need to add water, as the cabbage was cooked in its juice. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally.
8. When the cabbage is soft, add sour cream and simmer for a few more minutes.
