Panipuri is a traditional Indian appetizer. It is mostly street food, in the form of balls with a variety of fillings. This dish is made from a special semolina dough. The technology is quite elementary, the taste is very crispy and spicy, so Ukrainians may also like this culinary creation.

Valeriy Ponomar, a chef from Odesa, shared the idea on his Instagram page.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • semolina - 200 g
  • flour - 40 g
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • hot water - 125 ml

  • tomato - 250 g
  • salt

  • black pepper
  • basil - 1/3 tsp.
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Knead the dough until smooth, leave it under the film for 20 minutes at room temperature.
