Tomatoes with a secret: how to prepare a spectacular and simple appetizer

Tomatoes are not only an ingredient in a salad, but also the basis for an independent appetizer. Vegetables are deliciously combined with seeds and basil. Therefore, it is a great idea to stuff tomatoes with such products.
The idea of cooking snack tomatoes with a secret was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Natalia with the nickname smak_nata. This spectacular dish is ideal for a festive table.
Ingredients:
- small tomatoes - 9 pcs.
- cream cheese - 180-200 g
- salt
- ground pepper
Ingredients for pesto cream:
- seeds - 40 g
- olive oil - 40 g
- garlic - 3 cloves
- salt
- basil - a bunch
- spinach - a bunch
- cream cheese - 40 g
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the tomatoes crosswise on top.
2. Pour boiling water over them.
3. Cover and leave for exactly 2 minutes. Drain and pour cold water for 2 minutes.
4. Remove the peel. Cut out the stem and take out all the flesh. Season with salt and pepper inside.
5. Dry the seeds in a dry frying pan.
6. Blend the seeds, olive oil, garlic, salt, basil, spinach until creamy, add the cream cheese and mix thoroughly.
7. Fill the pastry bag
8. Mix the cream cheese well until smooth and transfer to a pastry bag.
9. Fill 1/3 of the tomatoes. The next layer is pesto cream and the top layer is cream cheese.
10. Top with a spinach leaf. Put the prepared tomatoes in a container and store in the refrigerator until serving.
11. Before serving, turn it over onto a plate with the cutout facing down
12. Drizzle with a little olive oil, sprinkle with pistachios. Garnish with basil or spinach.
