Tkemali plum sauce with garlic and hot pepper: an original recipe for a popular sauce
"Tkemali" is a spicy plum sauce that is prepared in the fall. It has a sweet and sour taste and a pleasant spiciness. It will be a great addition to juicy meat, fish and other delicious appetizers.
The idea of making Tkemali spicy plum sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olha Holovina (olha.holovina). It can be preserved for the winter.
Ingredients:
- cream - 2 kg
- garlic - 6-7 heads
- curry - 16 g
- salt - 2 tbsp without a slide
- sugar - 9-12 tbsp (depends on how sweet the plums are)
- red hot pepper - 2 medium
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the cream and separate it from the pit.
2. Peel the garlic and cut the tails off the peppers.
3. Grind all this in a meat grinder.
4. Put it on low heat and cook.

5. After about 40 minutes, add salt, sugar and curry.
6. Cook for another 20 minutes and turn off. Can be preserved for the winter.
