Thick and flavorful apple jam

Apple jam is one of the most delicious homemade preserves. Following the proportions of sugar, it turns out thick and delicate like jelly without different thickeners and gelatin. When ready, apple jelly can be used for stuffing pies, tarts and other desserts.
Food blogger Natalia Murga (domcemja) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for thick apple jelly for winter.
Ingredients:
- apples (peeled) - 2.5 kg
- water - 50 ml
- sugar - 1.8 kg
Method of preparation:
1. First you need to peel the apples, remove the core and cut the fruit in quarters.
2. Pour water into the bottom of a saucepan and put the apples in. Stew over low heat for 30 minutes.
3. Beat the apples with an immersion blender until smooth.
4. Pour sugar into the resulting mass, stir and put on fire. Bring to a boil and cook for 40-60 minutes over medium heat.
5. Pour the hot jam into clean and dry jars. Seal with lids. Done!
