Liver pate is a healthy alternative to a variety of store-bought spreads. Especially if you cook it at home. You only need 5 ingredients for the dish, which is very budget-friendly, nutritious, and tasty.
The idea of cooking an elementary 5 ingredient pate was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Irina Smachenko (ira.smachnenko).
Ingredients:
- chicken liver - 250 g
- 50 g of butter
- carrot - 1 pc.
- a piece of onion
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the chopped vegetables in a piece of butter, stirring for 5 minutes.
2. Add the washed liver.
3. Pour in half a glass of water.
4. Simmer until tender.
5. Put everything in a blender.
6. Add the butter.
7. Chop everything thoroughly.
