The perfect puffy dumplings: how to cook so that they hold shape
Dumplings are very popular right now. You can make them lean and add any salty or sweet filling. It would be a great idea to make this dish for Christmas Eve. But in order to make the products tasty, you need to make elastic and soft dough. To do this, you need boiling water.
The idea of making dumplings was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olena Karpiuk (alionakarpiuk). The products do not fall apart and keep their shape.
Ingredients:
- 60 g of ghee oil
- 350 ml of boiling water
- salt
- 600 g of flour
- sauerkraut for the filling
Method of preparation:
1. Melt the butter in boiling water.
2. Add salt.
3. Stir in 600 g of flour in parts until smooth.
4. Leave for an hour.
5. Cut out the circles.
6. Add the filling.
7. Boil and add the fried onions.
