The most successful marinade for kebab without vinegar, mineral water and kefir: the meat just melts in your mouth
To make kebabs soft and juicy, people often experiment with marinades. Vinegar, mineral water, mayonnaise, and a lot of spices are used. However, all these products only interrupt the taste of meat. A very successful and budget-friendly option would be to use tomato sauce.
The idea of cooking soft and juicy kebabs in tomato marinade was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tamara (tamaravatral). It is best to grill this kebab over charcoal.
Ingredients:
- meat (pork shoulder without bone) - 1.2 kg.
- marinated tomatoes - 4 pcs + 100 g. of marinade
- red onion - 1 pc (large)
- Italian herbs - 1-2 tsp.
- salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut meat into portions.
2. Add all ingredients except salt.
3. Marinate for about 1-2 hours.
4. Stir.
5. Add salt before frying.
6. Grill over charcoal.
