The most delicious homemade cold pork roast: perfect for the holidays
It is during the winter holidays that people in Ukraine do not buy pork but rather cook it at home. A lot of spices, garlic, and various herbs are added to the meat. It tastes best if you choose pork neck.

Ingredients:
- pork neck - 1 kg
- garlic - 5-6 cloves
- salt - 1 tbsp (or more)
- black pepper (preferably freshly ground) - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut garlic into halves.
2. Stuff the meat with garlic.
3. Rub the meat with salt and freshly ground pepper on all sides. If you like a salty crust, don't be afraid to add seasonings.
4. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
5. Put the meat in the mold.
6. Pour 1 tbsp of oil into the bottom of the mold.
7. Put the meat in the mold and put it in the oven, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
8. After 10 minutes, cover with a lid or foil.
9. Lower the oven temperature to 170 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
10. Open the lid and bake for another 15 minutes.
11. Serve cold.
