Cottage cheese casserole is an ideal recipe for a quick breakfast and a delicious dessert. To make it tender and fluffy, it is better to do without flour and replace it with semolina. For a bright flavor, the dish can be supplemented with nuts, berries, fruits, and dried fruits.

A recipe for a cottage cheese casserole with poppy seeds was posted on Facebook by a (Ukrainian) cooking blog.

Cheese casserole recipe

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 450 g
  • dried fruits - 70 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • sour cream - 200 g
  • semolina - 4 tbsp
  • sugar - 3 tbsp
  • poppy seeds - 2 tbsp
  • salt

Method of preparation:

1. First you need to pour hot water over the dried fruit, rinse and dry it well.

2. Add eggs, sour cream, sugar and a pinch of salt to the cottage cheese. Beat with an immersion blender until smooth.

3. Add the semolina, poppy seeds and dried fruit to the mixture. Stir and leave the mixture for 10-15 minutes.

4. Next, put the curd mass into a baking dish. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
