Crispy croutons are a good addition to salads, vegetables, first courses, or breakfasts and snacks. They can be made with spices, cheese, herbs, and garlic. It is worth noting that it is better to make croutons in the oven to make them less caloric.
Food blogger Oksana with the nickname ksu_foodblogger shared a recipe for croutons with cheese, herbs, and garlic on her Instagram page that you can easily prepare in 15 minutes.
Ingredients for 8-10 croutons:
- cottage cheese - 250 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- hard cheese - 120 g
- greens
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. First, prepare some ingredients: grate hard cheese and chop the greens.
2. Mix cottage cheese and hard cheese, eggs and herbs in a bowl. If desired, grate garlic. Mix everything.
3. Smear the bread with the resulting mass. Put the future croutons on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
4. Bake the croutons for 15 minutes at 190 degrees. It's ready!
