Tastier than sandwiches: Croutons with cheese and herbs for a snack in 15 minutes
Crispy croutonsare a good accompaniment to salads, vegetables, first courses, for breakfast or snacks. They can be made with spices, cheese, herbs and garlic. It should be noted that it is better to make croutons in the oven, so they are less caloric.
Ingredients for 8 to 10 croutons:
- cottage cheese - 250 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- hard cheese - 120 g
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
Method of cooking:
1. First prepare some ingredients: grate the cheese, chop the herbs.
2. Mix the curd and hard cheese, eggs and herbs together in a bowl. Grate the garlic, if desired. Mix everything together.
3. Coat the bread with the mixture. Place the croutons on the parchment-lined baking tray.
4. Bake the croutons for 15 minutes at 190 degrees. Done!
