Tastier than candy: how to make oat halva without sugar and baking in 10 minutes

Oat halva is an alternative to candy, a delicious and healthy homemade dessert without sugar and baking. It can be stored for a long time and be a snack for children. If desired, halva can be supplemented with nuts, chocolate and dried fruits.

One of the culinary blogs (palyanytsyabread) on Instagram published a recipe for oatmeal halva, which you can prepare in just 10 minutes.

Oatmeal halva recipe

Ingredients:

  • oat flour - 100 g
  • salt - 14 tsp.
  • honey - 1-1.5 tbsp.
  • vegetable oil/coconut oil - 2 tbsp.
  • apple puree - 1-1.5 tbsp.
  • kerob/cocoa - 1 tbsp.

Preparation method:

1. First, you need to grind oat flakes in a blender to get flour.

2. Add honey, vegetable oil and kerob. Grind everything again to form a homogeneous sticky mass.

3. Form small round candies and roll them in coconut shavings.

4. You can also tamp everything into a container, cover with cling film and leave in the refrigerator for 1 hour. After that, cut into bars. Done!
