Sweet and fluffy powdered doughnuts are a real taste of childhood. And they are prepared quite quickly because the products are not baked but fried. But it is very important to make the right dough so that it does not absorb oil.

The idea of making crispy sweet cottage cheese dough donuts was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olha Riabenko (olga_riabenko). The mass will be fluffy if you beat the cottage cheese with a mixer.

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 250 g
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • flour - 5-6 tbsp
  • sugar - 5 tbsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • vanilla sugar - 2 tsp.
  • powdered sugar

Method of preparation:

1. Beat the egg, sugar and vanilla sugar with a mixer until white.

2. Add the cottage cheese and beat again with a mixer.

3. Then add baking soda, sifted flour, salt, and knead the dough. If the dough sticks to your hands, don't worry. That's the way it should be.

4. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm.

5. Cut out circles, make a bagel shape.

6. Fry in oil until golden brown on both sides.

7. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with honey.
