Squid rings in the oven: what to add to make them juicy
Today we offer you a delicious and rather unusual appetizer. We are talking about breaded squid rings baked in breadcrumbs with cherry tomatoes. Thanks to the latter, the squid are extremely tender and juicy.
A food blogger with the nickname tanya.perchik posted a recipe for such squid on Instagram. She also told us which spices are best suited to this dish.
Ingredients
- Squid - 4 pieces
- Cherry tomatoes - 200 gr
- Breadcrumbs - 100 gr
- Italian or Provencal herbs - 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt
The way of preparation
1.Clean the squid, dry it well, cut it into rings.
2. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
3. Mix the squid rings, cherry tomatoes, herbs, salt, olive oil and mix gently.
4. Add the breadcrumbs, shake gently, mix well, and spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
5. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees in the convection mode, or the same time, but at 200 degrees in the top + bottom mode.
